MAR_APR_64: Major Alton made a mistake of two months in paying this soldier on his descriptive list. He was paid by Paymaster Major Cooke to include 8/31/62. He was made prisoner by the rebel forces at Chickasaw Bayou about 12/29/62 was taken by them and turned over [no second sheet]
