NOTATION
Adjutant General's Office
9/16/1887

This man deserted on or about 6/18/62 and was arrested on or about 10/22/63.

As he was subsequently restored to duty by competent authority without trial, but upon conditions which appear to have been complied with (so far as not waived by the government), the charge of desertion no longer stands against him. The record of the fact that he was absent in desertion from on or about 6/18/62 to on or about 10/22/63 cannot, however, be expunged.
